AN ENCIRCLEMENT OF HATE: ANTISEMITISM IN THE 21ST CENTURY

“Never Again!” has been a rallying cry for decades--a powerful symbol to remind the world of how antisemitism led to the Holocaust. Tragically, far too many individuals have not heeded this reminder and have continued to spew anti-Jewish sentiments. Indeed, some have created new stereotypes and antisemitic myths. Whether from the far Right or the far Left, antisemitism has increased since the turn of the century, especially with vitriolic attacks disguised as mere “criticism of Israel.”

Our speaker, Gloria Greenfield, is best known as the director/producer of several award-winning documentaries: The Case for Israel; Unmasking Judeophobia, and Body and Soul: The State of the Jewish Nation. A feminist activist for many years, she left the movement after observing its growing antisemitism, and began creating documentaries that brought national attention to antisemitism in America and around the world.
