Community Wide Purim Carnival

Join us for a fun-filled Purim Carnival! There will be carnival games, inflatables, face painting, a raffle with exciting prizes, and so much more. Food will be available for purchase throughout the day, ensuring no one goes hungry while enjoying the festivities.

A special highlight of the event will be our Costume Contest at 12:30 PM, so come dressed in your best Purim costume!

Adults get in for free. Early bird tickets for kids ages 2-13 are $20 and $25 the day of the event for entrance only. Kids under 2 are free. You may purchase either an entrance-only ticket or a ticket that includes a meal. The meal includes a hot dog, chips, carrots, and lemonade, with a vegetarian option available. Food will also be available for purchase at the event.

Contra Costa Midrasha's Hamsa Project teens are fulfilling the Purim mitzvah of "matanot l'evyonim" or giving gifts to the poor, by running an adult clothing drive.  All clothing will be donated to Youth Homes, which supports local foster youth. At the Purim Carnival, teens from Contra Costa Midrasha's Hamsa Project will happily take your gently used adult clothes. Please bring one t-shirt, a jacket, or a whole bag of clothing (or more) to the Purim Carnival to help our whole community fulfill this mitzvah. (Note: CCM's Hamsa Project is a year-long program where teens learn how to change the world through philanthropy, service, and advocacy.)
