In Fighting Back, Craig and Jeffrey Weiss have uncovered the story of Stan Andrews, an American Jewish World War II veteran who became one of the first fighter pilots in the history of the Israeli Air Force. Leaving a comfortable life in LA, Andrews travelled to Israel just when the Jewish State was being born. Already a pilot, he served there in fighter and bomber squadrons, becoming the stuff of legends.
