About the Event
Dara Horn's People Love Dead Jews is winner of the 2021 National Jewish Book Award for Contemporary Jewish Life and Practice and Finalist for the 2021 Kirkus Prize in Nonfiction Under One Tent Program Director, Riva Gambert, will lead a book group discussion about People Love Dead Jews, in which prize-winning author Dara Horn discusses the fact that she is always being asked to write about dead Jews rather than living ones. She reflects on the international veneration of Anne Frank, the Jewish history of Harbin, China, and the shocking attacks on American Jews in recent years. This book is available in paperback.
