About the Event

Are you one of the many people feeling greater anxiety during the pandemic about your finitude? Here at Sinai, we are able to give people like yourself greater peace of mind by helping you understand how you can make advance plans for your end of life, both for a funeral and a final resting place. On November 2, at 7:00 pm, please join Sinai Memorial's complimentary workshop with Cong. B'nai Shalom's Rabbi Stein, Sinai's Executive Director Sam Salkin, and Sinai's Advance Planning Funeral Counselor Cara Walden. Together we will discuss:

  • Why plan in advance?
  • What in our Jewish tradition encourages advance planning?
  • Who is Sinai and what do we do?
  • What are the core things to think about when making an advance plan?
  • What are the steps to proceed

If you are unable to come but are interested in learning more please FILL OUT THIS FORM or reach out to Cara Walden directly at (415)921-3636 or cwalden@sinaichapel.org.

Admission is free. Register here in advance. After registering, you will receive a confirmation email containing information about joining the meeting.

Sponsors: Sinai Memorial, Cong. B'nai Shalom and its Men's and Women's groups & the Contra Costa JCC.
