About the Event
is a multi-session course focusing on “intelligence agents” who helped create and secure the State of Israel. The December 2-part sessions will focus on intelligence failures leading up to the 1973 Yom Kippur War and the Egyptian “spy” (or was he a double agent?) who provided Israel’s Mossad with details prior to the conflict’s start. Future sessions in 2021 will explore the Lavon Affair, Mossad’s work in rescuing Ethiopian Jews, and the pre-State group Nili.Spies in the Promised Land
