About the Event

Enjoy a wine tasting from Napa Valley's Ru Vango winery, whose owners are American entrepreneurs and philanthropists originally from Vietnam. Our sommelier and wine educator, Rudy Mayers, will provide his extensive knowledge of wine while you taste different varietals.

After the tasting, while you enjoy the wine of your choice, Rabbi Emeritus Roberto Graetz will talk with Q & A on the diverse Jewniverse: the many faces of our Jewish tribes.

Roberto Graetz spent the first 20 years of his rabbinate in his native Buenos Aires and Rio de Janeiro. He moved to the United States in 1991, where he served as the senior rabbi of Temple Isaiah for 25 years. Since his retirement, Rabbi Graetz has volunteered every year for three months in Guatemala, Costa Rica, and Puerto Rico, helping small Jewish communities. He co-founded a Rabbinical Training Institute based in Buenos Aires.

Wine and Wisdom tickets are $30 per person.

Sponsors: CCJCC and Congregation B'nai Tikvah.
